My favorite things this year roam all categories, except the shoe aisle. I know, I’ve praised many-a-shoe in posts and Pinterest. But I couldn’t single out one pair without leaving the others feeling unworn. 😉
Before we can eat the last piece of leftover Halloween candy the stores fill with ideas for finding
THAT GIFT for Mom, Sister, second-cousin-on-your-mothers-side. Why is it that cousin always, without fail, arrives Christmas Eve with the perfect gift for you and say,
“This screamed you and I had to get it!”?
I WANT gifts to scream my mother or sister-in-law’s name when I walk through the shops or scroll online.
Maybe they’re whispering and I just can’t hear it.

1/ Stainless 24oz secret straw travel bottle + the NOT water-tower size Stanley :: One for travel and the other to follow me around home + car
2/ Belt Bag - When I get to my destination I pull out a small bag or crossbody for city roaming essentials {wallet, phone, portable charger...}
3/ Sweater Blazer / Coatigan - This longer one lasts fall through winter when you layer it + it’s made a good clutch pillow on the plane.
4/ Toiletry Travel Bag - All the face, hair, and nail goodies bundled neatly together in this medium size toiletry bag {the plastic zip pockets have contained bottle spills too}
5/ The Perfect Airplane Socks - “Not too long and not too short” - Goldielocks
I pack a pair into my carry-on bag every trip!

7/ Scarf Sparkle - For your hair, handbag, wristlet, neck, and sneezes {no, not these for sneezes. I’m thinking cotton, not satin}

8/ Market Spice Tea Bags - A taste of home delivered to my door {a Seattle specialty}
9/ Cinnamon Drops - Some cars carry tictac’s or Altoids, but in mine you’ll find the ol’ fashion cinnamon drops.
10/ My Peepers - Frank Sinatra’s song was wayyyy ahead of its time. If I gotta wear readers, make-em cute. Squared Readers | Always need Pink

11/ Down Dog Yoga App - I found this app years ago and still use it on my trips {+ home}. With yoga, HiiT, and meditation, it’s a nice change-up
{I’m up to a whopping 12 minutes in the meditation app 🤪 Big time progress for my SQUIRREL! brain.
