Best Wine gifts For You To Give 🍷and {hint-hint} to someone
Wine Gifts You’re going to LOVE to Give and Get
Gift guide numero tre for holiday shopping…Wine Gifts {and the post you should casually, in-a-no-big-thang kind of way, send to your Friday night wine drinking pal, book club, or spouse as a hint-hint for your wish list}.
No wine drinker in your gift-giving-circle? First, I’m sorry. And second, Did you see my other Chapter 50 posts with gift ideas?::
When you grow up in Walla Walla, Washington {the rising Napa Valley of wine making, tasting, and relaxing with a glass overlooking the Blue Mountains} you have to include a wine gift list – HAVE TOO!
Alright, so you wouldn’t recognize the Walla Walla I grew up in with the Walla Walla now. But that saying, “change is good” may have been coined in the Walla Walla Valley transformation. I can throw a cork + hit a beautiful and very tasty winery in all four corners of town.
I’ve listed two of my favorite Walla Walla wine clubs in this list to give you a head start, in case you’ve never experienced a wine weekend in Walla Walla.
– Add a visit to your travel list soon – Actually, don’t rush, wait until #TheHouseGrandpaBuilt is online for your perfect vacation rental stay 😉
Wine Gifts for your Favorite Wine Lover
1/ Wine Away ~ Any and ALL red wine drinkers need, must, absolutely, PLEASE HAVE in your house, a wine stain remover.
Proof is in the spill…
2/ Wine Decanter with Aerator Pourer ~ A classic + pretty gift for the wine connoisseur {or just someone who likes pretty things on their table}
3/ Personalized Un-Stemware ~ For all the patio parties…wine enthusiasts need unbreakable wine-ware. Mix up colors so there are no sip-ups at the party. Insulated stemless for the white + Rosé drinkers.
4/ White Wine Drinkers ~ Always perfectly chilled glasses for your Pinot Grigio or Chardonnay {Keep them in the freezer. If you forget to chill your bottle on you’ll still get the best white temperature 😉} If have wine guests often, get a Set of 4
5/ Stay Chill all Summer night long with a chilling cradle. No more warm sips of your Rosé sitting out by the pool or at one of the Summer Tranche Winery outdoor concerts. Here is a stem wine glass version.
6/ Cheese Markers ~ Raise your hand if you can live on bread and cheese? 🙋🏻♀️ And chocolate. Avoid “This wedge looks like the other” and write on these reusable markers for each wedge on the charcuterie board. Share your cheese love with everyone this holiday.
If you have stem glasses, add these Wine Glass Markers to your cart {Guests write what they want instead of trying to remember which stem-dangle-thingy they draped on their stem.}
7/ Create a Couples Wine Theme Gift Basket ~ Cheese creation board | Cheese markers | Wine Glass Set | Wine Glass Markers | Wine pairing towel guide | Chocolate Bars {with love from Seattle} | Candle
8/ Stories over a bottle with friends ~ Collect stories with family and friends like wine corks.
Add a wine bottle into the box to start their collection.
I’ve been collecting my friends and family stories for a very. long. time. Grew out of the wine box.
9/ Did you think I was going to miss adding a book to the list? No Chance! Wrap a bottle of wine with Wine Lover’s Bucket List Book
10/ Membership ~ Far better than a gym membership ~ B and I have explored a few different memberships over the years. Here are three favorite clubs::
Amavi Cellars - Their Summer deck views of Blue Mountains are spectacular
L’Ecole No 41 - You’ll need more than one bottle to savior the family history within an old school house in Lowdon, Washington
Caprio Cellars - Visit and they pair three appetizers with their wines – Taking the guess-work out of pairing
11/ The Wand has piqued my curiosity ~ Adding this to the HINT list for any HUSBAND reading this blog post looking for gift ideas for their wife {cough - cough}
12/ Order a pre-assembled Charcuterie Box and ship direct. No wrapping, not standing in post office lines.
I say wine - you say ___ ☞cheese – chocolate – bread – crackers –
13/ Pivot Wine Preservation ~ When they only want one glass with dinner, this wine gadget saves the rest of the bottle for three to four weeks {i.e. No sour grapes}.
Who leaves a bottle for weeks? 🤷🏻♀️ It can happen.
14/ Electric Corkscrew for any budget
Wine is best shared on a night in, with family and friends, over the holidays, date night, at an outdoor concert…
Finding unique gifts for the wine taster on your list is another way to personalize the giving they will remember all year long {if if the bottle doesn’t last past December}.
